SUPER SAIYAN JAY – “Can I”
Rest in Peace to Akira Toriyama, and all the Super Saiyans out there. At least today we have one of them here on our list cheering us up. We are talking about Super Saiyan Jay, who recently released his track Can I. Directly from West Palm Beach, we are ready to vibe with this tune in the background. The production of this rap track is extremely solid, and the instrumentation used creates a very chill beat. Super Saiyan Jay’s vocals on top are absolutely spot on and we loved the flow he creates with his lyrics. The lines convey a lot of confidence from the artists, definitely what we need during these uncertain days. If you also need some uplifting vibes, that’s the track for you.
ERIC ALEXANDRAKIS – “INTERLOPER”
It is now time to fly to one of the most ancient countries in the world. We are going directly to Greece to meet with an incredible artist called Eric Alexandrakis. This outstanding producer recently put out an album that is out of this world. The release is called Interloper and we lost ourselves in this. The sound design created on these tracks is incredible. Everything is curated with extreme accuracy, and the result is an album with some cinematic tracks with electronic and industrial influences. Same as Atticu Ross and Trent Reznor are revolutionizing the cinematic genre, Eric Alexandrakis is able to follow step with these compelling tracks that introduce some effects, synths and sounds we never heard before. Don’t miss this out.
V OF 40M – “The Score”
V of 40M is back with a compelling fresh track called The Score. We were waiting for a track like this to be honest, and the song also features 40M Tye and Hippie G, and it is produced by LABACK. We loved this type of collaboration. It is that 2+2=5 type of situation because the track is exploding on our speakers for the amount of energy this conveys. The beat has a main lead guitar-ish synth that is extremely catchy and pairs perfectly with the vocals on top. All the vocals on this track are top-notch, all the melodies and different flows merge perfectly together on the track, creating a theme-based tune that’s one of the most consistent we heard in months. You got no excuse, go listen to this track at maximum volume.
HORST GRABOSCH – “It’s Raining in Strange Spaces”
Last but not least, we have a cheerful track to close this new episode of Hyperspace. We are now flying to Germany to showcase this incredible artist who goes by the name of Horst Grabosch. he recently released a track with Alexis Entprima called “It’s Raining in Strange Spaces”. The track is not the usual electro-pop as you might expect. Listen closely, this track has some amazing ear candies and experimental moments that add some audacity to the track. That’s what we look for in electronic music, and Horst did an amazing job with this. There are some industrial and more violent parts, sometimes alternated with aggressive synths other times with gospel-ish organs. We won’t know what to expect, and that’s the beauty of it.
