Hilgrove Kenrick & Nick Norton-Smith – “Sylph”
Today we are going to bring you Hilgrove Kenrick and Nick Norton-Smith, who really cooked up something special with their latest project, “Sylph”. This isn’t your average “stick it on in the background” type of record.. it’s more like a soundscape that slowly wraps itself around you until you’re fully inside it. The soprano sax soars right over a lush mix of orchestra and synths, giving the whole thing this weightless, almost otherworldly vibe.
Recorded live in London and polished in Worcestershire, the production is crazy detailed; every note feels like it’s been placed with intention. There’s a real balance here: one foot in the classical world, the other in cinematic electronica. The result is that kind of music that feels ancient and futuristic at the same time.
What hits hardest is the mood. It’s soothing without being sleepy, uplifting without forcing it, perfect for meditation, late-night thinking, or just zoning out with good headphones. Consequential – “Cravin'”

BC25 – “Blue Thread”
BC25 single’s “Blue Thread” surely feels like stumbling onto a secret you weren’t supposed to find, but one that stays with you forever. The Freiburg duo (Vela Sorell and Barbonus) built this one out of fragments from a late friend’s lost recordings, and the result is hauntingly intimate. You can hear that “less-is-more” approach in every corner: warm acoustic guitar recorded so close it’s like it’s breathing in the room with you, and Vela’s vocals gliding through the mix like smoke in still air.
It’s not a track that tries to dazzle with layers or big production tricks; instead, it leans on honesty, space, and the raw weight of emotion. Lyrically and sonically, it taps into the fragile threads of human connection, the kind you clutch tight even knowing they can fray at any moment.

Cedric D brings us his remix of “What I See”, and hits like a late-night drive where every streetlight feels like it’s got something to say. This time, Cedric takes his already powerful original and flips it into something deeper, moodier, and way more cinematic. Built on that smooth blend of synths, warm pads, and piano flourishes, the remix feels both old-school vibey and fresh enough to keep you locked in.
What really stands out here is the emotion baked into the track. Cedric’s process, starting with the instrumentals and letting the vocal hooks fall into place, definitely shines here. Those layered vox and that delayed female hook give the song this dreamy weight, almost like it’s echoing your own thoughts back at you. And the message? Heavy but universal: a reminder that what we “see” is always filtered through our own bias and experience.

Reworking these lost pieces into something entirely new, the duo creates a lush, playful soundscape where digital synths, textured feedback, and intricate guitar modulations collide.
Influences from Brian Eno, Four Tet, Pat Metheny, and Radiohead subtly seep through, but the result feels distinctively their own — both experimental and inviting. Unlike the noisy seriousness of Slimline, this record leans into energy and melody, balancing ambient depth with propulsive grooves and unexpected bursts of color.

peejmudd’s Nobody is Coming to Save Us is a beautifully haunting exploration of cinematic electronica, blending minimalist strings with glitch-driven beats to create an atmospheric and emotionally charged soundscape.
Influenced by Kiasmos, Moby, Nine Inch Nails, and Boys Noize, the track feels intimate yet expansive, balancing fragile melodies with pulsating electronic textures.
